Event Overview & Announcement

On Saturday, 5 December 2026, Dr. Banwari Lal Sharma Gurukul hosts ROBOVERSE 2.0, a full-day state-level AI and Robotics Conclave at its Naimisharanya campus in Sitapur district.

Secondary school science education frequently separates software programming from mechanical assembly. Students write simple code on computer lab terminals, but rarely wire microcontrollers to stepper motors, calibrate infrared arrays, or debug communication protocols on physical robots. ROBOVERSE 2.0 changes this focus. The conclave requires participating schools to field functional working models, evaluated by visiting robotics specialists and technical juries.

Hands-on robotics hardware calibration: assembling an Arduino-powered autonomous rover on the workbench at Dr Banwari Lal Sharma Gurukul
Applied Engineering at the Gurukul: Hands-on assembly and calibration of an Arduino-powered autonomous rover prototype, connecting motor drivers, ultrasonic sensors, and microcontrollers on the lab workbench.

Dr. Banwari Lal Sharma Gurukul provides fully equipped exhibition stalls to participating schools at zero cost. Each stall includes display boards, furnished tables, seating, and dedicated 230V AC power feeds. The organizing committee also covers breakfast, lunch, and refreshments for every registered team and teacher mentor.

Cash prizes of up to ₹50,000, along with trophies and medals, will be awarded to the top three models selected by external industry judges. In addition, every student participant and school receives an official CBSE-affiliated participation certificate.

₹50,000 Cash Prize Pool

Cash prizes, championship trophies, and merit medals for the top three working models, plus the Best Innovation Camp Trophy and Best Interactive Demonstration Trophy.

Zero Registration Fee

Participation is completely free for all school teams. Full hospitality, including breakfast, lunch, tea, and refreshments, is provided by Gurukul management.

Dedicated Stall & Power

Every school receives an individual exhibition stall with a display backboard, presentation tables, chairs, and dedicated 230V electrical connections for testing models.

Expert Technical Jury

Projects are evaluated by external robotics engineers and AI industry specialists. Students defend their circuits, code logic, and real-world utility in person.

Exhibition Disciplines & Project Themes

Participating schools may register models across any of the following eight categories. Each school must exhibit at least two functional projects:

Category 01

Autonomous Robotics

Line followers, obstacle-avoiding rovers, pick-and-place robotic arms, differential drive platforms, and mechanical automations.

Category 02

Artificial Intelligence & ML

Computer vision applications, speech classification, smart sorting algorithms, predictive sensor models, and edge AI implementations.

Category 03

Coding & Software Logic

Python and C++ systems, algorithmic problem solvers, data monitoring interfaces, and student-developed educational software utilities.

Category 04

Drones & Aerial Systems

Quadcopter flight controllers, automated delivery simulations, aerial surveillance platforms, and remote altitude hold mechanisms.

Category 05

Internet of Things (IoT)

ESP32 and NodeMCU smart home nodes, agricultural telemetry, weather stations, and automated ambient lighting systems.

Category 06

STEM Innovations

Applied physical science prototypes, solar tracking units, water level regulators, and sensor-driven environmental monitors.

Category 07

EdTech & Publishing Stalls

Dedicated commercial display space for STEM kit makers, robotics kits, curriculum publishers, and coding academy platforms.

Category 08

Interactive Demos

Live technical demonstrations, interactive hardware kits, and hands-on demonstrations built for visiting students and teachers.

Evaluation & Judging Standards

  • Originality & Engineering: Independent student construction, circuit wiring, and code implementation over assembled commercial toys.
  • Functional Integrity: Models must operate repeatedly without failure during demonstration runs.
  • Student Technical Fluency: Participating students must explain circuit logic, sensor thresholds, and code structure directly to judges.
  • Practical Utility: Preference for projects addressing concrete regional needs, such as farming automation, safety sensors, or assistive tools.

Mandatory Safety Rules

  • Hazardous Materials: Flammable liquids, corrosive chemicals, and toxic reagents are strictly prohibited on campus.
  • Electrical Standards: All high-voltage supplies must remain fully insulated. Open 230V wiring will fail safety checks immediately.
  • Battery Safety: Lithium polymer (LiPo) cells must be housed securely with no exposed terminals.
  • Aerial Drones: Drones may only run propeller tests within designated cordoned safety nets under teacher supervision.
Safety Notice: Any model that poses an electrical or mechanical hazard to attendees will be disqualified from display.

Official Guidelines & Participation Rules

1. Guidelines for Participating Schools

  1. Mandatory Quota: Every registered school must exhibit a minimum of two distinct working models or robotics projects.
  2. Team Composition: Each working model may be manned by up to three students and accompanied by one official teacher mentor or IT coordinator.
  3. Stall Allocation: Each school receives one dedicated furnished stall comprising tables, chairs, display partitions, and electrical connections.
  4. Setup Schedule: All participating teams must report at 08:30 AM on 5 December 2026 for registration verification and stall preparation.
  5. Discipline & Conduct: Teams must maintain academic decorum and campus cleanliness throughout the event.

2. Guidelines for Companies, EdTech & Publishers

  1. Commercial Exhibition Stalls: Premium exhibition stalls are allocated to manufacturers of STEM kits, coding platforms, robotics equipment, and educational publishers.
  2. Direct Demonstrations: Exhibitors may demonstrate educational hardware, software tools, and books directly to attending principals, teachers, parents, and students.
  3. Branding Materials: Standees, banners, brochures, and promotional handouts are permitted within designated stall footprints.
  4. Prior Approval: Exhibitors must submit their equipment list and book catalog to the organizing committee in advance for approval.

3. Guidelines for Press, Parents & Visiting Citizens

  1. Press & Media: Accredited media correspondents must register at the reception counter to collect press credentials. Interviews and camera setups must not block demonstration pathways.
  2. Visiting Citizens & Guests: Public observation hours run strictly from 10:30 AM to 01:30 PM. Entry passes are issued at the school gate upon presentation of valid ID.
  3. Parents: A dedicated parent gallery is provided. Parents may tour student stalls during public visiting hours while maintaining quiet during active judging.
